Jeep Cherokee Doors Wont Lock

I think that was me that posted a similar problem but different mine won t lock or unlock from fob or door switch but it will with physical key.

Jeep cherokee doors wont lock.

Nothing will lock or unlock electronically. Oldman44oldjeep98 may 1 2018 1 may 1 2018 at 8 32 pm. I checked the fuse in slot 15 and it appears to be good. 2018 jeep jl unlimited rubicon 2016 gmc 2500 hd 2010 seneca.

The relays are in the passenger side arm rest. I have a 1999 jeep cherokee and the power door locks don t work anymore. There could be a wire broken in the harness that goes through the door jam or a solder joint on one or more of the door lock relays could be broken. 1998 jeep cherokee classic has door locking unlocking problem.

Have checked all fuses and relays that can be indentified. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don t. Any help on how to fix would be very helpful. Seems like the relay for the power locks may be part of the junction box fuse panel the one under the drivers side dash.

If it s not making any sounds trying to unlock lock and it s all doors not working it normally comes down to the fuse or the tipm module itself. Tipms can unfortunately be an expensive fix. Passenger door lock makes a ticking noise when i push the door lock on drivers door. Even though you inspected the fuse did you try to replace it anyway just in case.

I took it to the dealer the next day and they said the latch actuator assembly is broken and on back order no eta on part or fix. The passenger side lock makes a clicking sound when i try to use the master lock on the driver s side. However the power door lock on the passenger side does not work either.
