Both are strong options for stand alone use in moderate winter climates and can be layered under a more weather resistant layer for extreme conditions. After reading reviews i decided on the icebreaker quantum gloves in the large size. Either way the appealing feature for me is the grip print texture on the palm. I use them in weather around the low 40s without any other glove and find they keep my hands reasonable warm.

Icebreaker s grip print quantum is an ultralight liner style glove made of icebreaker s gt260 wool. Not for very cold weather just mild winter or for driving. I found them somewhat large so i would suggest ordering your normal size. Fend off frozen digits on hikes climbs and other days in the snow.

These gloves are not the warmest icebreaker 260 range so i wear them with glove liners when its really cold. September 9 2020 i have yet to wear these gloves much as it is still summertime here and i haven t been out camping since getting them but so far they fit nice and feel like they are good quality. Quantum gloves untested. But i love the grip dots on the first finger and thumb i can use it in most of my normal everyday activities as it easily grips most things.
